Il Forum of Pan Brioche was born to be space for comparison among users subscribed to Pan Brioche. It aims to become a place for meeting, exchanging and studying the topics of sourdough and bread-making, with particular reference to the aspects already covered on the pages of Pan Brioche, but also to those still unpublished or touched only superficially.
Il Forum of Pan Brioche aims to be the place of reference for those who love research, technical understanding of matter and for those who have desire to share their experience with sourdough starter and doughs, regardless of the level of preparation.
Il Forum of Pan Brioche aims to become a community in which all members make available their knowledge and their not knowing (because doubts and errors are also part of the growth process) as a contribution to collective growth.
Il Forum of Pan Brioche wants to be a place devoid of secrets, jealousies and protagonism.
General regulation
- Il Forum of Pan Brioche He can have different access permissions (in reading and / or writing) depending on the user's role and his type of subscription to panbrioche.com;
- Il Forum of Pan Brioche it's a forum au pair. To ask questions, you need to answer the questions. No matter your level of preparation, you can always share your experience, or your reasoning.
- Subscribers who ask questions and do not offer answers may be restricted in using the forum;
- Subscribers who participate only in topics opened by themselves may be restricted in the use of the forum.
- Il Forum of Pan Brioche it's a forum inclusive. We can talk about the work of any known or unknown figure in the sector, provided that the mention is respectful of the person and justified by the context.
- Il Forum of Pan Brioche it is not a place of protagonism. Unlike social networks, here the exchange must not be aimed at the mere purpose of showing oneself ("look at that beautiful bread") or commenting with an impromptu judgment (beautiful, I don't like it, wow, acceptable, etc.). Each image shown must be argued and accompanied by a specific question, and the answers must also be argued.
Consulting
The Forum of Pan Brioche includes a consultancy area reserved for subscribers to the Panettone VIP Plan. All other areas are not intended as a place for counseling. This area is dedicated exclusively to the request for personal and targeted advice, on sourdough starter and doughs, and subject to specific regulations:
- Any request for advice must be requested directly in thereserved area Panettone VIP;
- Each request for advice corresponds to a new discussion;
- They are guaranteed up to a maximum of 2 threads per month per subscriber;
- In each discussion / consultation, up to a maximum of 3 responses are guaranteed;
- If you go beyond 3 replies in the same thread, it will be counted as a new thread, and one less will be counted in the current month;
- In other words, up to 6 replies are possible, distributed over a maximum of two discussions per calendar month;
- If the request for advice is particularly difficult to process in writing or is particularly long (at the sole discretion of the Data Controller), a video or telephone consultation (for a fee) may be refused or offered;
- If the request for advice concerns a topic not yet covered in the guides and insights of Pan Brioche, can be refused or processed only partially, at the sole discretion of the Owner;
- If the request for advice does not fall within the skills and knowledge of the Data Controller or of whoever is required to provide the advice, you will be entitled to further discussion / advice on other issues;
- The User or the Owner can set the discussion as private, and thus make the consultation not visible to other Users;
- Answers to requests for advice and discussions are guaranteed on average within 2 working days (48 hours) from receipt of the messages (Italian time). There may be delays in case of overload of requests, high season (November-January, March-April), holidays or sickness;
- The contents of the Panettone VIP area are subject to a confidentiality agreement between all subscribed Users. In the event of suspected or proven disclosure of such content by a subscriber, the Data Controller - at its sole discretion - will immediately block access to the area reserved for that subscriber, thus voiding the right to the Consultancy service;
- Any decision by the User not to use the Consulting service during the subscription period does not entitle him/her to request refunds.
In all other cases, or outside the area reserved for subscribers of the Panettone VIP Plan the forum should not be understood as a place of consultancy, but only of exchange and discussion. Therefore, Alice and any future collaborators of Pan Brioche they are not required to answer questions posed within the forum on the topic of sourdough and bread making.
The intervention of Alice and any future collaborators, on issues related to sourdough and bread-making, will be guaranteed only after at least 3 different users have proactively contributed to the conversation:
- Attempt to effectively answer the question;
- At least some solution hypotheses have been exposed;
- Shared their own personal experience that contributes to the analysis of what is exposed / requested.
- In no case the intervention of Alice and any future collaborators is mandatory and therefore required.
The intervention of Alice and any future collaborators can be partial and not exhaustive if this can go against the interests of the paid services offered through panbrioche.com.
The prohibitions
- Sul Forum of Pan Brioche Any form of advertising to oneself and to third parties is strictly prohibited. Information relating to your business, your sites or social channels can be entered in your personal profile and in the presentation message in a specific category. For any exceptions it is necessary to ask the forum administration.
- A distinction must always be made between advertising and information. It is not forbidden to mention people, activities, premises and sites, as long as they are justified by the context and accompanied by common sense.
- Sul Forum of Pan Brioche It is strictly forbidden to enter personal data or those of third parties such as telephone number, street address, e-mail address, etc.
- Sul Forum of Pan Brioche it is strictly forbidden to use vulgar jargon, denigrate, defame, offend, damage the image of others, gossip about those present and not present:
- Opinions must always have the appearance of opinions and not judgments, and these must be addressed to the actions and work of individuals and not to their person.
- Sul Forum of Pan Brioche It is strictly forbidden to express intolerance due to origin, culture, skin color, sexual orientation, religion, political creed.

- Experimenting together methods, procedures, recipes, and sharing problems, observations, discoveries;
- Discuss readings, videos, courses, events useful for training;
- Talk about useful equipment, ask for advice on purchases, etc;
- Ask for help to start a business related to the sourdough and bakery sector, share professional experience or expectations and doubts;
- Report site malfunctions, anomalies or ask for clarification on how certain services are used;
- Creation of FAQs (frequently asked questions to be given a unique answer always available to everyone);
- Creating surveys;
- Chat for the simple pleasure of getting to know each other.
Usage
- Before posting a new topic, check using the search button if this has not already been covered. If it has already been discussed, continue the discussion within the old topic. If it has not been treated, open a new one.
- The topics must be positioned within the reference category. If this is missing, place it in the most similar category and / or suggest the opening of a new category directly to the administration.
- Topics placed in the wrong categories will be moved to the right ones
- New topics that are duplicated will be closed.
- Each user can access their personal forum profile, modify it and complete it.
- Among the items that the user can change in their personal forum profile is "Name shown". This is the name with which it can show itself in the forum. The nickname, during registration, remains unchanged (and publicly visible). The latter also corresponds to the url of the user profile.
- Currently it is possible to change your password also from the forum profile. This password is the same as the login to the site, so once changed the access keys to access the pages also change Pan Brioche and all related services.
- Users can be banned from the forum if they do not comply with the rules.
- The first 5 messages of a new user are subject to review and approval. After that they will automatically appear on the Forum.
- It's possible attach photos only after posting at least 1 message on the forum.
- All published messages are subject to change in visibility. It is in fact possible that the forum as a whole or some categories, undergo a change of access permissions (read or write), and that they become accessible also externally or to other types of subscribers.
- Only messages set as "private", ie visible only to the user who wrote them and to the administrator / moderators, will not undergo any changes in visibility.
